Dr. Dizzy, Ph.D., is a well known and respected Social Psychologist and Sexologist at a private Southeast liberal arts college. “Dr. Ziggy”, is a pseudonym and a "nom de plume" that reflects an affectionate term used by Freud’s mother when referring to her son (the term she used was actually “My Golden Ziggy”).
Dr. Ziggy has appeared in several television and radio shows in Canada. He also hosted a Cablevision phone-in show in Canada on Sexuality and Sexual Relationships.
Dr. Ziggy has an Honors B.A. in Psychology, a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and Sexology. Additionally, Dr. Ziggy earned a Diploma in Sex Therapy and has had extensive training in Sexual Behaviour and Sexuality Education. Previously, he maintained a private practise in Sex Therapy and Relationship Therapy in Canada.
